Prior to production ADL offers Prototyping as a method to test and validate the product. Prototypes or short runs can be produced using a range of techinques.

Rapid prototyping is a cost effective means to prove CAD and gives the opportunity to touch and feel the product prior to committing large capital to production tools.

ADL will use the following prototype methods to take your product form CAD to reality.

  • SLS (Selective Laser Sintering)
  • SLA (Stereo Lithography Apparatus)
  • 3D Printing.
  • Polyurethane Casting.
  • CNC Machining.
  • Thermoforming.
  • Rapid Tooling.
  • Fabrication Services.
  • Investment Casting.
  • Sand Casting.

Australian Design Lab can also offer CAE and FEA services in the way of flow and stress analysis.

Computer Aided Engineering (CAE) is a way to simulate how the product will behave using specific materials and ensure the components will be robust enough for the products life expectancy.

Product testing and NATA approval is also project managed in conjunction with the Development program.
